Funny Knights, Funny Zombies
There will be a quick DVD round-up tomorrow, but in the meantime why not check out two needlessly extensive look-backs at two of the finest comedy films ever made, over at Den of Geek?
First up, there's the pestilential Arthurian silliness of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, one of my favourite films as a kid and, I'm pleased to say, one that still manages to hold up well, despite being quoted in 99% of movies and computer games ever made, and the perception that it isn't quite as good as LIFE OF BRIAN.

Then, there's a even more in-depth look at SHAUN OF THE DEAD, another of my all-time favourites and a nice primer to get you in the mood for THE WORLD'S END, the third part in the BLOOD AND ICE CREAM trilogy alongside SHAUN and HOT FUZZ. It's not out until 2014, however, so you'll have to read it very slowly.

Me vs Scott Pilgrim vs the World
I entered Edgar Wright's competition for a 1st anniversary tribute to the excellent Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, cruelly overlooked on its initial release but already firmly established as a cult classic.
I had nothing to do with the audio on the video - the remix was done by DJ Osymyso (the brain behind the awesome Intro Introspection, which you should definietly check out if you can track it down), I just cut the visuals.
Lots of old video game footage here for fellow nerds. Hopefully it's not totally incomprehensible if you're not able pick up on all that stuff, though.
Overall it was a fun exercise, if a little bit frustrating at points (there was a LOT of stuff to pack in). I'm getting better at proper editing though, I think, and I'm looking forward to starting a new vid (along the same lines as Broments in Love, but with a different theme) in the next few weeks, but for now I'm going to take a bit of a break as this was very time-consuming.
Here it is anyway. Enjoy!
