Me vs Scott Pilgrim vs the World
I entered Edgar Wright's competition for a 1st anniversary tribute to the excellent Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, cruelly overlooked on its initial release but already firmly established as a cult classic.
I had nothing to do with the audio on the video - the remix was done by DJ Osymyso (the brain behind the awesome Intro Introspection, which you should definietly check out if you can track it down), I just cut the visuals.
Lots of old video game footage here for fellow nerds. Hopefully it's not totally incomprehensible if you're not able pick up on all that stuff, though.
Overall it was a fun exercise, if a little bit frustrating at points (there was a LOT of stuff to pack in). I'm getting better at proper editing though, I think, and I'm looking forward to starting a new vid (along the same lines as Broments in Love, but with a different theme) in the next few weeks, but for now I'm going to take a bit of a break as this was very time-consuming.
Here it is anyway. Enjoy!

Short Fridays #12: ‘Broments in Love’
So this Short Friday will be a little different, obviously.
I uploaded a mash-up I had created of moments culled from movies that center around tense, unconsummated male romances to YouTube on Monday, and thanks to some high profile supporters, it seems that 'Broments in Love' (kudos to Edgar Wright for the title, by the way) has gone viral – maybe we’re not talking 'Outbreak' viral just yet, but 28,000 views in under four days is at least enough to give you a migraine and the shits for a while.
On the YouTube page there have been few requests for the list of films used in the clip, so without further ado, here they are (in order):
